Care Partner to Caregiver, LLC is a locally owned care management service in Georgetown, Texas founded by a former caregiver.

About Care Partner to Caregiver
Care Partner to Caregiver, LLC was created by me, Josie Zamora, RN, BSN, MSN. I am a Georgetown resident, where I have lived with my husband since 2012. I created Care Partner to Caregiver, LLC because of my personal experience as a caregiver. My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 1992 and lived with the disease for fourteen years. When my mother received her diagnosis, I felt lost. How would I care for my mother? Who would I call to ask for help? And would they understand my situation? I remember feeling all alone trying to help my mother on her Alzheimer's journey.

According to the Alzheimer's Association there are over six million people living with Alzheimer's today. Our healthcare system offers a variety of services for those living with memory loss, but the care options are often fragmented and the healthcare landscape difficult to navigate. Care Partner to Caregiver care management is a way for those living with a loved one affected by memory loss to get the help they need as well as answers to their questions. Our care management services are customized to meet the client's needs for every phase of the journey.
I have practiced as a nurse since the age of 21, when I became an LVN. I went on to earn my BSN in 1994 and practiced for several years as an RN before earning my MSN in 2001. During my time in Nursing school, I created the Jill Earle Waddy Nursing Scholarship Fund at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio as a way of honoring a nursing colleague of mine who lost her life at age 28. After many years of nursing practice and as a result of my experiences as a caregiver for my mother, I founded A Gift of Time Adult Day Center, a 501(c)3 organization located in Georgetown, Texas. As the Executive Director for A Gift of Time, I created several programs for caregivers including Camille's Memory Cafe, the Living Well with Dementia Education series, and a local Caregiver Support Group. I am an Alzheimers' Congressional Team member as part of the Alzheimers' Impact Movement (AIM).
Care Partner to Caregiver was founded in 2022 to address the issues of caregivers throughout our community who still have significant needs. I understand what it is like to care for an aging parent, especially one with memory loss. I am here to serve.
